	UNIPLAIN	Manufactured from uniform, twisted strands of collagen and are intended for use where an absorbable suture or ligature is needed.
	UNICHROM	Manufactured from uniform, twisted strands of collagen which are treated to retain tensile strength longer than plain catgut. UNICHROM sutures are intended for use where an absorbable suture or ligature is indicated.
