	Smooth passage through tissue with minimal trauma.
	Smooth surface will not support bacterial growth.
	Braided construction gives better tying qualities and greater flexibility.
	Type non-absorbable syntheic material.
	Uses-procedures where non-absorbable braided suture are indicated, especially skin, G.I anastomosis.
	Sterilised by gamma irradiation.
